Synopsis of Workshop #LWP-2123 “Public Relations 101”

This workshop will define why you need a public relations strategy as well as give you some tips and tools for working effectively with journalists, writing news releases, and media alerts, interviewing and more. You will also walk away with a newfound understanding of what makes news, how to get your message out, and how to choose the best public relations tools for your organization. This is a dynamic, interactive session that gives you an overview of media relations and concrete ideas and tools you can put into action.
